About This Project
Working at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory was a formative experience that shaped how I approach software engineering. Building for a government environment meant every decision carried weight because accessibility wasn't a nice-to-have, it was a legal requirement. Security-conscious development practices, thorough documentation, and building for long-term maintainability were non-negotiable. I learned to work within Agile sprints while adapting to evolving project requirements, and gained hands-on experience modernizing legacy systems into responsive, performant web platforms. The recognition of a Summer Student Cup team award and an extended internship validated that the work had real impact across the lab's web properties.
